Frush Farm is located just west of Adamstown, PA, about 5 miles from interstate highway 222 and the PA Turnpike Denver/Reamstown exit 286. The following directions are not necessarily the shortest route. They are rather for folks who may be coming to visit the farm for the first time, or those who are unfamiliar with the area. If you know the Adamstown area, or are good with back roads, you may feel better just mapping your own route.
From Lancaster - 30 minutes
Take Route 222 North. Take the Denver/Turnpike exit and turn left at the bottom of the ramp. At the third traffic light, turn right onto Route 272 North. At Weaver's Market and the first traffic light, turn left onto Route 897 West. At the first stop sign (4-way stop) turn right onto Ridge Road. Ridge Road becomes Fritztown Road. Cross over RR tracks, pass Bensing Road, and then turn left onto Vinemont Rd. Turn left into the driveway - 1301 is on the mailbox.
From Reading - 15 minutes
Take Route 422 West. In Sinking Spring, turn left onto Columbia Avenue. Columbia Avenue becomes Fritztown Road. Travel about 4 miles passing through the village of Fritztown. Pass a small Lutheran church on the left and then turn right onto Vinemont. Turn left into the driveway - 1301 is on the mailbox.
From the PA Turnpike - 7 minutes
From the turnpike (Rt 76), take Exit 286. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Route 272 North. At Weaver's Market and the first traffic light, turn left onto Route 897 West.
