March 1, 2021 - Spring!!! It's almost here!!! Soon time to plant the garden!!! Soon time for baby goats to be born!!! The Bed & Breakfast is open for guests!!! The pandemic is coming to an end!!! Let's be joyful!!! Let's celebrate!!
Nancy just finished crocheting her second blanket for the winter!! It was made for the bed in the Green Room. This week we are getting the seeds ready and planning the layout of the garden. The snow drops are blooming, the first flowers of Spring.
For Bed & Breakfast guests, the rooms in the Farm House are now open for booking. The Studio Apt is booked every weekend and then some starting the last weekend in March through the end of April. So if you are interested, book soon!
March 13, 2021 - Our first set of baby goats were just born on Saturday - triplets from Alice in Wonderland!!! She is such a great mother! All doing well! Two males and on female.
March 13, 2021 - Our second set of baby goats were also born on Saturday - twins by Twix, her first! They are also doing quite well! One male and one female.
March 14, 2021 - Here is Richard rototilling the garden yesterday. We added 20 yards of mushroom compost last fall and WOW, what a difference it has made! We planted hull peas, snow peas, carrots, red beets, lettuce, spinach, radishes, turnips, mizuna and arugula.
March 15, 2021 - Today we are going to plant Swiss chard and kale. And finish cleaning out the barn!! We are also waiting for additional newborns!
March 15 - We are excited to let our B & B musician guests know that we purchased a piano for the Studio Apartment!! It was just delivered today!!! Something to add enjoyment to your stay with us!!!!
